EyeFrames Press Release

For Immediate Release

EyeFrames, the forerunner of the digital eyeglass revolution has unveiled its first ever pair of consumer grade spectacles. Their team of designers and engineers has been working hard to develop and test these glasses for nearly five years. Their lead designer had this to say, "During the past five years, our biggest concerns were the ability to ensure safety, simplicity, and dependability so you [the consumer] can truly live in a world that goes beyond 20/20 vision."

"our biggest concerns were the ability to ensure safety, simplicity, and dependability"

The company did mention that their initial release of these glasses was for a government agency–which one remains top secret–and they were finally given the approval of the agency to create these for the consumer market. Tests have been run throughout the agency's use of the glasses to ensure that the product lives up to EyeFrame's standards, with the overall goal being to allow the public access to such remarkable technology. Now, with a few modifications, they have been given the go ahead to release the product into the market allowing all to enjoy their creation.

The glasses themselves have a remarkable list of features. Not only do they provide up to the moment information on the happenings around the wearer, but they also notify the wearer of the potential dangers around them. Most of this information comes from the four Nano-Cams (cameras using nanotechnology) to "see" and track the movements of other people, cars, etc., and translate that into meaningful information. Furthermore, the frames are lined with infrared sensors that track the wearer's eye to know exactly where the wearer is looking. Finally, the information is displayed on a "3-D" HUD, appearing approximately one foot in front of the user that only the user can see.

The company hopes to see their product spread throughout the market providing those who need glasses with a new an improved medium for perfect sight and allowing those who do not necessarily need glasses to try out a new form of digital eyewear. The glasses are meant to be as stylish as they are unique, and they are currently one-of-a-kind.
