Assignment: Create a steel sculpture

I wanted to create an interactive sculpture that used the conductive property of metal to help light an LED. I also wanted the batteries and other elements of the electrical circuit to be hidden within the sculpture so it would not detract from the design of the piece. The final product is a piece that holds up a piece of quartz and inside the quartz is a color changing LED.
